Embark on a unique northern lights adventure to one of the highest points in Rovaniemi – the summit of Pisavaara, right on the edge of a nature reserve. A nimble tracked vehicle will take you effortlessly through the winter forest to the top, where a cozy wilderness hut (kota) awaits.

The kota is nestled on an ancient stone field shaped by nature, known as a “pirunpelto” or devil’s field – a place that radiates timeless, silent power. Surrounding you are trees draped in heavy snow, standing tall like white giants. Above, the sky may come alive with dancing northern lights. Inside the warm kota, you’ll enjoy a hot drink and light refreshments.
